Methodology

How Devhok sources, tests, verifies, and publishes AI developer tool comparisons, including the evidence bar every entry must meet.

The evidence bar

Every published article and comparison declares its evidence type. A build fails if a published entry has no valid evidence.

Tested
Backed by entries in the benchmarks collection: the hardware profile, a link to the test script, and the test date.
Sourced
Backed by a list of sources, each with a URL, publisher, and the date the source was verified.
Mixed
Both of the above are present and both are shown on the page.

Verification and staleness

Content carries the date its facts were last verified. Content older than 90 days shows a visible stale warning, because prices and plans change without notice.

Attribution

Third-party benchmark numbers are always attributed to their source and never presented as our own tests. Prices and plan details live in data files, not in prose, so a price changes in exactly one place.
